Our summer programs use drums and percussion as the vehicle for music instruction
Spend your summer with The SFCPA! We have two programs available this year. Summer Saturdays is our program for ages
18m - 11 years old and Rhythm Music Camp is our program for ages 12 - 18. More info on each program below. Both programs are open to all students regardless of experience.
Summer Saturdays
8 week program for ages 18m - 11 years old
This 8 week program is for ages 18m - 11 years old. Children are taught in a small group setting. Students will be introduced to the percussion family of instruments and learn the fundamentals of music, including reading and playing together!
The Summer Saturday Program is a great addition to our RhythmFun! program in the Fall. This summer, 6 - 11 year olds will spend several weeks learning grooves on drum set in addition to playing some of their favorite songs on various percussion instruments! Students are highly encouraged to join, regardless of experience.

Rhythm Music Camp
2 week program for ages 12 - 18
Join us for another year of Rhythm Music Camp! Featuring our talented and experienced staff, guest master classes, and small group instruction! Each week will end with an intimate performance by the students, showcasing everything they have learned throughout the week. To get a full rounded experience, we highly encourage 2 week participation.
Students are highly encouraged to join, regardless of experience. Similar to last year, students will be grouped by experience level most of the day and have the opportunity to work together in a larger group. This summer we'll be exploring the world of marching percussion, classical percussion, drum set and world percussion!

*Before & after care will be available for one hour before and one hour after for an additional charge.

Summer Program Registration 2024
Registration for Rhythm Music Camp is now open! Please fill out one application per family (up to 2 siblings). Once you submit a form, we'll contact you within a week with more information and for payment submission. If you are registering more than 2 children, please submit an additional form. Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis.
