An update on our response to COVID-19

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our priority continues to be on the safety of our staff, students and community. We are excited to announce that we have gradually began welcoming private students back into our facility, introducing strict guidelines with your safety in mind. Online private lessons are still available. Our RhythmFUN! program however, will be online for Fall semester. This will allow us to accept a larger amount of students, and we are very exited for all the possibilities going virtual has to offer! Click here for more information!

In-person guidelines 

We are very excited to invite our private students back! Starting on June 22nd we began in-person private lessons and practice space rental in our facility. Please contact us for scheduling, due to our new guidelines your usual time may not be available. We will be taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and students. The lesson room and equipment will be sanitized before and after every lesson. Please read the guidelines carefully and understand that failure to comply with the guidelines may result in a forfeit or cancellation of your lesson/rental.  

  • Please arrive at your scheduled lesson time, the cafe will not be available for waiting. 

  • The main entrance in the cafe will be closed, please use the second entrance to the right. this will be your lesson room.

  • For the safety of our staff, all other rooms in the center will be off limits to students. 

  • Masks are REQUIRED. Students without a mask, will not be allowed in the lesson room. 

  • Bathroom will be available upon request.

The SFCPA is a Knight Arts Challenge winning, non-profit organization dedicated to creating new and enhancing existing opportunities to study, perform, and enjoy music through percussion. Along with educational programs from classical to world percussion, we help make music accessible to our community through school presentations, workshops, and performances. We also meet a challenge of studying percussion: access to literature, instruments, and rehearsal space in our 2300 sq.ft. facility!

Free Friday Drum Jam returns soon | every Friday 7-9PM | all ages and abilities

Everyone is invited to try out the instruments, learn from one another, and just jam out!
