Everyone is invited to try out the instruments, learn from one another, and just jam out! Always different and always fun, we get everyone playing together in just a few minutes. Come and learn something new every Friday night!

Matt Starr is a drummer, producer, career coach & speaker. Matt has toured and recorded with Ace Frehley (KISS), Mr. Big, Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow), Kevin Dubrow (Quiet Riot), George Lynch (Dokken) as well as members of Guns Nʼ Roses, KISS, Bon Jovi and others. In the studio he has worked with the following producers: Jimmy Bralower (Mick Jagger, Joan Jett), Toby Wright (Metallica, Alice In Chains), Mike Chapman (Blondie, The Knack), Dave Bianco (AC/DC, Tom Petty, KISS).
Remo HealthRhythms™ Group Empowerment Drumming Facilitator training

In this two-day intensive training with Frank Thompson, you will experience and learn how group empowerment drumming is not about performance, but a strategy for health. You will develop new knowledge and experience the health benefits of this approach to recreational music-making. This event is organized by Remo, tickets are required.

The AKI Festival is a FREE innovative, multidisciplinary community arts festival for children and families with and without disabilities. This festival features a district-wide student art show and awards ceremony, live performances, community resources for families, and more. SFCPA RhythmFun! students will be performing on the plaza stage from 11:30am - 12:00pm!
