2021 SPRING SCHEDULE
Dates: January 19 - May 16
Spring Break: March 29 - April 2
After a very successful Fall semester, we have decided to continue with our 100% online format on Zoom for the month of January.
In February we will be offering the Rhythm Fun program in a hybrid format, allowing students the opportunity to have
in-person Rhythm Fun classes every two weeks on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The in-person classes are optional and space will be limited in order to enforce social distancing. Rhythm Fun will still be available through Zoom on hybrid days for those who wish to stay at home.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, our priority continues to be on the safety of our staff, students and community. For in-person Rhythm Fun classes we will be taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and students.
Space will be limited and masks will be required. All instruments will be sanitized before and after each class, hand sanitizer will be available throughout the center and temperature checks will be conducted at the door. Please contact us if you are interested in participating in the in-person classes. We are looking forward to another great semester!
As we continue to monitor the Covid-19 community transmission conditions, we will continue to provide updates to parents regarding our plans to reopen our programs to in-person instruction.
Our unique program is for students from 18 months to 18 years of age and is divided into 6 groups. The youngest 2 groups meet once a week and the upper 4 groups meet twice a week. All groups have 2 performances during the 14 week Fall and Spring Programs. Students are highly encouraged to join the program at every age level, regardless of experience. The variety of skills within a group inspire and unite the members to achieve the goal of the program - learning, playing, and performing together!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, RhythmFUN! is a tuition free community program. Classes will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
With the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
